Terms of Service
Last Updated: 13 Oct 2026
Welcome to GPXLAB (the "Application"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Application. By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.
2. The Service
The Application is a GPS track editor for the web and mobile (iOS and Android). It lets you view, draw, edit and route GPS tracks, analyze tracks (for example road legality and surface) and share them with a link. An account is optional; most of the service works without one. The Application is provided free of charge.
3. Accounts
An account is optional. If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You may optionally create and access your account using a third-party sign-in provider (Google, Facebook or Apple). The sign-in service is provided by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. You remain in control of your account with the provider and may revoke its connection to GPXLAB at any time in the provider's settings; revoking access does not delete your GPXLAB account or your data.
You may close your account at any time from within the Application; closing it deletes your account data. You may also request deletion of your account and your personal data by emailing us at hello@gpxlab.app; we respond to such requests within 30 days.
4. User Content
The Application allows you to create, upload, edit and manipulate GPS tracks and related data ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. By using the Application (for example by creating a share link), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing you with the service.
Creating a share link publishes your track to anyone who has the link. Share links are temporary: tracks uploaded through a share link are stored on our servers for up to 7 days and then deleted. You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to create or share User Content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use the Application for personal and commercial purposes. You must not use the Application in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, that interferes with or disrupts the service, or that attempts to gain unauthorized access to it.
6. Outdoor and Off-Road Use
The Application is designed for outdoor and off-road navigation. Routes, track legality and surface analyses are provided for information only and do not replace your own judgment, local knowledge or the rules of the terrain. Legality analyses are based on public map data, which may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate, and do not create any guarantee that a route is legal or safe to travel. You are solely responsible for complying with local laws and regulations (including access, fire and nature-protection rules) and for your own safety and the safety of others. Do not rely on the Application in conditions where a mistake could endanger you or others (for example in dense forest, on private land or in emergency navigation). You use the Application at your own risk.
7. Intellectual Property
The Application, including but not limited to its design, graphics and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any part of the Application without our prior written consent. Map and terrain data shown in the Application belongs to its respective providers (OpenStreetMap contributors, OpenTopoMap, Esri) and is subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we do not warrant that routes, analyses or results are accurate, complete or up to date.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use the Application, including any damage or injury arising from navigation or outdoor use.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date, and your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Contact Us
